Kokum began its journey in a home in the by-lanes of old Madras. Surrounded by yards of fabric began a slow journey. A journey in learning the range of textiles and karigari India had to offer.

At Kokum, we use only hand woven fabrics to bring you delicately crafted clothes made with much care and love by our team of weavers, artisans, tailors and designers. Our goal is the production of sustainable clothing with a focus on quality and luxury.

Through Kokum lives a dream of dressing women in classic, elegant and yet modern clothes.Our design sensibility is primarily that of minimalism, clean cuts and relaxed silhouettes in handwoven fabrics.

We constantly strive to achieve fair trade and ethical business practices and do our best by our team of workers at every stage of production.
